One School, Three Universities.
A collaboration of University of Northern Colorado, the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Colorado State University, Colorado School of Public Health is the first and only school of public health in the Rocky Mountain region. Combining transferable courses, faculty and resources, the school allows students to access specializations, research and service centers located at the three universities.
UNC offers a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in three concentration areas: Community Health Education, Global Health and Community Health Education, and Healthy Aging and Community Health Education as well as a Certificate in Public Health Sciences. These programs prepare students to work effectively with diverse communities to identify needs and strengths, as well as develop healthy individuals and communities.

ColoradoSPH Welcomes New Dean – Fall 2017
Dr. Jonathan Samet, MD, MS, will join the Colorado School of Public Health as the new dean in October 2017. Dr. Samet brings nearly 40 years of experience in patient care, administration, and research. Chancellor Elliman, CU Anschutz, shares: ” We are fortunate to have someone as accomplished and versatile as Dr. Samet taking the helm of the Colorado School of Public Health at this critical juncture in its growth. I am grateful to Dr. Elaine Morrato who, as interim dean since December, has helped the school continue to build on its momentum while ensuring we are set up for a smooth handoff to new leadership.”
ColoradoSPH Students at UNC Assist City of Fort Collins with SRTS Evaluations as a Class Project
ColoradoSPH students at UNC recently evaluated the Safe Routes to School program (SRTS) as part of their Methods in Public Health Research and Evaluation class with Dr. Mary Dinger in order to help improve bike safety education for the City of Fort Collins. The purpose was to improve the evaluation design and tools used to measure change in youth cycling knowledge after the completion of SRTS.
MPH Student at ColoradoSPH at UNC is Working to Improve Healthcare Equality in Colorado
KC Hall, a Community Health Education MPH student at ColoradoSPH at UNC and president of our Student Leadership Council, is working to improve healthcare equality in Colorado through her practicum project, particularly among Colorado’s LGBT population.
Graduate Receives Fellowship to Work in Afrida with CDC’s Global HIV Program
Colorado School of Public Health graduate Meagan Cain has been awarded a fellowship to work in Africa on HIV intervention programs through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The Colorado School of Public Health has received full accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
