Trading As” – Company and Business Names – Company Formation, cool business

Cool business names

Cool business namesIt is quite a common occurrence in the UK for Limited Companies to adopt a trading name to run their business with. Having already set up a limited company and registered with Companies House with one name they find that they would rather run the business under another name. In some instances, a limited company may well run multiple businesses, with various different trading names, yet all under the umbrella of the same company. There are, or can be, a number of issues to consider when contemplating such a thing.

First of all, The Business Names Act 1985 imposes certain legal requirements on companies adopting this business technique. The most obvious point is the trading name cannot be the same as or similar to another company or business name in a way that might be confusing. In the same way that you cannot register a company name with the same name as a company that is already registered, you cannot register one company name (which is completely different) then use a trading name which is the same as a already registered (and trading) company name.

Secondly, the use of sensitive words is prohibited/regulated in use as part of a trading name in much the same way as it is for limited company names. So using words like association , group , federation and similar words is prohibited. Clearly, a company cannot use the word limited as part of its trading name as this implies registration of a limited company under that name.

Thirdly, if using a trading name as part of carrying out business, a company is required to display the appropriate information in all places where the business is carried out and on all documentation, invoices and alike. So for example, if ABC Limited is trading as XYZ, then they must make as much clear on a notice at their premises, on paperwork and website displaying ABC Limited trading as XYZ .

The Pitfalls of Trading As .

The use of a trading name might seem appealing to most businesses as it is easier than registering a company under the new name. However, there are several pitfalls. The whole area of trading as is rather a mine field.

It s clearly important to carry out a company name search to ensure that the trading as name is not already registered as a limited company. Sensible business people would also carry out other searches in local business directories, on the internet and in the phone book to make sure they are not going to step on anyone s toes. Because a trading name is not registered as a limited company, it is not properly protected. There is always the danger that at a later date someone else may register the trading name as a limited company and then stake their claim. This could clearly cause complications for your business as they will have the right to the name and therefore can force you to stop using it. So it is advisable to carry out a company formation and register the trading name as a limited company, then keep that company dormant. This might seem to defeat the point in using a trading name, but because a dormant (non-trading) company is just that, the registration is low cost and maintenance is straightforward.

The other obvious danger is that someone else has the trading name registered as a trade mark. This could lead to costly legal battles and a headache for the company. It is advisable to carry out a trade mark search and a trade mark registration with regards to the business trading name, both in order to protect it from use from others and to ensure it has not already been registered.

Having a hard time coming up with business names ideas?

Here s some reasons why choosing a company name may not be as hard as you think.

Let me tell you a story about how I came up with my company name, and why you should consider using your own name for your company.

“Had I known that picking too unique of a name would cause all sorts of pronunciation problems, spelling errors, and confusion, I would have just stuck with my own name for business purposes.”

I was born on the anniversary of Buddha s birthday, and on that same day, Picasso passed away. It always seemed strange to me that these two events occurred on the day I was born, and when it came time for me to choose a company name, I had this brilliant idea:

Why not combine the two names for the name of my company?; Thus, Buddhacasso came into existence. Cool right?

Well, as I continued running my company with this name, a few issues came up that, had I known about these potential problems, I would have stuck to my own name for the company.

  • No one could pronounce the name. I thought it was fairly obvious that the name was the combination of Buddha and Picasso. But hardly anyone got that idea. And so, the name was constantly being butchered: buddah-cass-o, etc.

  • No one could spell the name, since no one could pronounce it, and no one had a frame of reference as to where the name came from, it was always misspelled: on checks, packages sent in by vendors, even my bank misspelled it on my company checks.

  • And depending on your native tongue, my chosen name was pronounced differently. I heard some Italians say my company name once and it was really fascinating .
    • Cool business names

So what ended up happening was that customers ended up knowing me by my name, and referenced my jewelry by my name. It got to the point that customers would call me and ask why there was a charge for buddah-cass-o on their credit card, and I would have to call them back and say it was me, and that was my company name. It was ridiculous!

    Branding and Business Names Ideas

Remember in the jewelry branding section where we started to think about how to brand jewelry through the artisan? I think the most effective company name for designers is using some version of your name. Jewels by Erica Blane, John Hagen Gioiello. Simple, and to the point.

Of course, you are free to choose whatever name that you wish, just keep in mind my disaster of a story when choosing a name!

    Fictitious Business Name Filings

If you do choose to go with a made up name, or a name that doesn t involve your personal name in the company name, you may have to file a fictitious company name declaration. Different counties and states have different rules, so check with local officials for the proper procedure.

You basically have to fill out paper work declaring your fictitious business name, or DBA: doing business as. You do a search in the state to make sure no one else is using the name, and then you have to publish this declaration in a publication for a certain number of days, after which, your name will be official.

Good Luck! And remember: simple and to the point .

Find Out Who is Visiting Your Website

Demandbase lets you know when those blue-chip customers are knocking at your virtual door. Its free real-time ticker analyzes your visitors’ IP addresses and compares them with information from sources such as Dun & Bradstreet and LexisNexis. With those data, Demandbase can tell you the names of the companies at which many of your visitors work. Click on a company name, and Demandbase will sell you the name and contact information for a lead at that company. Demandbase has been called the iTunes of CRM, and it’s almost as affordable: The average cost per lead is just $1.80.

    Calendar, Meet Social Networking

LuckyCal aims to make it easier for you to meet up with friends or business contacts. The free Web tool, which launched in December, integrates your work and personal calendars with those of your employees, friends, and business associates (as long as they give you permission). The main benefit could be for road-weary sales teams; LuckyCal will scan your colleagues’ and clients’ Outlook calendars and Facebook profiles and e-mail you when they are in your area. LuckyCal plans to charge for an enterprise version that launches later this year.

    Reduce Your Carbon Footprint

Three new software programs can help companies cut carbon emissions. Edison (verdiem.com/edison), CO2 Saver (co2saver.snap.com), and Carbon Control Software (carboncontrolsoftware.com) all use Windows power settings to reduce the energy consumed by computers while they are idle. All the programs provide information on how much carbon you have saved, and Edison estimates how much money you have saved as well. The personal versions of the programs are free. Carbon Control Software’s business version costs $10.50 and up per license per year and Verdiem, the maker of Edison, has a corporate version that sells for $20 per computer per year. It may be worth the price: Globally, IT infrastructure emits as much carbon as the aviation industry, according to research firm Gartner.

    Ditch That Phone Tree

Fonolo.com has mapped out the automated customer service phone trees of 200 companies. Log on, click on the department you want to reach (reservations at American Airlines, for example), and Fonolo will make the call, navigate the system, and call you when it has reached your desired department. When we used it to call Citibank, it connected us with a rep in less than 20 seconds, compared with two minutes when calling directly. Fonolo has an iPhone app as well.

    Save Money on Travel

When you cancel a flight, you are entitled to a refund of the taxes and fuel charges you paid — even on a nonrefundable ticket. For 25 euros ($32), MissRefund.com will get that money for you. The company has secured refunds as large as $262; the average is $101. If you don’t receive a refund, you don’t have to pay. Meawhile, Vayama.com is an airfare booking site focused on routes and destinations that aren’t generally available online, like Seattle to Denpasar, Bali. But it doesn’t always have the best prices, particularly on run-of-the-mill trips, so make sure to shop around. Airfarewatchdog.com scours listing sites such as Travelocity and Orbitz to find the best deals, even on small airlines like Allegiant. And Yapta.com will alert you when a good price appears on the flight you want. If the price falls after you have bought the ticket, Yapta will, for $15, try to get you a refund or credit for the difference.

Name Your Price for Coding Help

The world’s largest community of software developers and graphic designers is now ready to serve small companies. Since 2001, TopCoder has been holding coding and design competitions to help companies like ESPN develop new software tools, websites, and logos. Late last year, it launched TopCoder Direct, a do-it-yourself version that allows small and midsize companies to get in the game. Log in at topcoder.com/direct, describe what you want, and determine how much money you will award the first- and second-place finishers. When the submissions come in, you pick the best. A prototype for a simple website might cost $1,200.

    Skype on Steroids

Chances are you have a cell phone, a work phone, a home phone, a couple of e-mail accounts, and maybe an instant-messaging program. With free software from VoxOx, you can keep them all in one place. Import contacts from all of your e-mail and IM accounts. Then, e-mail, IM, text, or call anyone you know, all through VoxOx. Every user gets a phone number, which shows up in the caller ID of the person receiving the call. If someone uses the number to call you, you can pick up at the computer or have the call forwarded to any phone. But there is one drawback: VoxOx gives users only two free hours of calls. Then, you can either pay a fee or get more free calls by watching ads.

10 Cool Business Ideas For Newbie Entrepreneurs

Photo: Liesha Petrovich ; Credit: Crystal Clear Photography, LLC

Ready to take a chance this year? Maybe try something a little bit different?

If your answer is yes, then it’s time to start that business you’ve always dreamed about. You don’t have to start big, or risk your life savings. You can start each of these businesses with a minimal investment, and many as a side hustle on the weekend .

So, if you’re ready to have a little more fun (and income) this year, get inspired by one of these cool business ideas .

    1. Offline education.

Online teaching is a booming business—$107 billion to be exact! That figure includes online universities, corporate training, webinars, and selling courses on platforms like Udemy and Ruzuku.

There are also a ton of courses on how to create (and profit from) online courses! But the growth of online learning hasn’t stopped the need for offline, local independent teachers.

If you have a talent and developed skill, why not teach it to an offline audience? Adult education, after-school programs, day-cares, community centers, and even churches need interesting and valuable courses for their members.

Here are a few examples: horseback riding. swimming, karate, dance, gymnastics, music, computers skills technology, golf, tennis, archery, business planning, accounting, home repair, cooking, meal planning, personal finance and so on.

    2. Sell your hobby.

Combine your hobby with a business and you’ve got a recipe for success. Businesses like, How to Cook That. are part helpful blog and part online shop. Owner Ann Reardon shares helpful tips and tricks to make amazing desserts, but also sells interesting and fun how-to’s and templates.

Using a simple widget from the e-commerce platform Selz. Ann can sell any recipe, guide or template from anywhere on her website. This can be a great niche business for anyone who wants to start an online business selling plans, guides, patterns or tutorials. You don’t even need your own website, as you can sell your digital download from your own Facebook account or Selz store.

    3. Lunch carts, food trucks and kiosks.

Starting a restaurant is one of the riskiest and capital-intensive businesses out there. There is a ton of overhead, even for the smallest diner.

On the other hand, starting a lunch truck, food cart or a kiosk has minimal startup costs. You still have to follow local regulations, but the investment is much smaller than a full-fledged restaurant.

One of the best things about food trucks is the insanely wide variety of possibilities. From a marshmallow cart to cannolis, the portable food business is here to stay. Checkout Portland Maine’s Mami Food Truck, which specializes in Japanese street food.

Photo: Mami s Food Truck; Source: Facebook

    4. Vending machine business.

Who would have thought the vending machine industry is worth approximately $8 billion? While the location of the vending machine is the key to success, there are many different kinds of vending machines to consider, including drink, food, toys, gumballs, stickers, games, and even personal grooming machines.

There are also variations of traditional vending machines, like those that only offer healthy vending choices and others that offer credit card payment options.

If you’ve got an entrepreneurial bug and want to try something a little different, Healthy Vending offers a smart guide on how to start a vending machine business .

    5. Reiki therapist.

Reiki therapists are at the intersection of new age and creative wellness businesses. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It’s not for everyone, but it can be a fun, interesting and rewarding business.

You have to learn the practice and check the regulations in your area, but for those with a drive to help people, Reiki can be smart and rewarding business.

    6. Herbal farm stand.

Shop local. It’s a mantra heard in every small community; and many offer farm stands year-round. There are many different niches to choose from including honey, jams, grass-fed meat, organic produce and fresh herbs.

    Photo: © dusk, YFS Magazine

Beyond using herbs for cooking, consumers are now using herbs for medicinal purposes, candles and aromatherapy essences, baths and teas. If you have a green thumb and enough of a backyard for farming, consider starting a herb farm.

It has a low startup cost and can be operated part-time. One enterprising farmer started his business using lavender that grew along his road, and sold lavender sachets. That’s about as low-cost as you can get!

    7.Freelancing.

The term freelancer is actually an umbrella term for hundreds of different businesses. It’s anyone who is outsourced to do a job, and the benefit is the employer doesn’t have to pay benefits like insurance or 401k’s.

If you have in-demand skills that can be outsourced, consider starting a freelance business. One of the best things about being a freelancer, is that you can offer your services at competitive prices.

There is always a demand for business services such as: IT, human resources, accounting, PR, customer service, marketing and sales; Writing services: resumes, cover letters, ghostwriting, articles, editing and blog posts; and Miscellaneous services: wedding/event planner, graphic artist, photographer, and interior design.

    8. Aquarium maintenance.

This business idea sounds crazy (i know) on the surface. But it’s actually a growing industry, and does great in the right market. You can cater to either homes or businesses, and you are responsible for all aspects of maintaining a healthy aquarium.

Research the licensing regulations in your area. It s a unique business idea for anyone with a passion for fish and aquatic life.

    9. Bicycle maintenance and repair.

It’s easy to assume that bike riding is for the young. But biking is actually skyrocketing, especially in city centers and local towns! Thanks to baby boomers, seniors now account for 22 percent of adult bikers. And where bikes are, bicycle repair isn’t that far behind.

Plus, it’s the type of business that anyone can start in a home garage. For example, the Green Machine Bike Shop in Norway, Maine offers bike repair, but also created group rides in their area to promote their love of biking.

    10. Ethical dog breeder.

The term puppy mill brings up horrific images of abused dogs. However, with so-called designer dogs fetching thousands per puppy, there is a growing need for ethical dog breeders.

    Photo: © bussardel, YFS Magazine

Ethical breeders keep and care for each dog as a pet, not as livestock. They view their dogs as family members, not just a means to an end. Of course this means less profits than traditional puppy mills, so most ethical breeders only keep a few dogs for breeding purposes. The pet business is part money maker and part adorable fun.

Sewing Classes: A Cool Business Idea – So Sew Easy #business #portal

Sewing Classes: A Cool Business Idea

In the last couple of years, sewing is getting new and enthusiastic interest from kids and teens, so much so that starting a sewing classes business is becoming a cool idea! We ve written a lot before sewing for profit. sewing and selling and how to transform your sewing passion into something profitable. Here s what I think is another great sewing business idea.

There is no doubt that the growing interest in sewing amongst young people is enhanced by the popularity of the long running Project Runway TV show. a popular reality TV show where new and promising designers compete by designing and creating their own clothes. There is also a growing trend in turning old clothing into teen accessories like tote bags and the like. Plus if you ve been browsing the internet lately, you will likely notice that there s a subculture online that is dedicated to sewing and people are linking their sewing projects to their Facebook pages; there s a lot of interest in sewist s blogs too. The takeover of Information Technology has definitely helped to make sewing cool, accessible and popular today.

So what do you need to start offering sewing classes?

This is a relatively new business idea. While there are plenty of online classes such as at Craftsy and Creativelive. these lack the personalized approach that I have in mind. I think sewing is best learned in a one-on-one or small group environment with coaching and customization if required. This is how we ve been learning (and teaching) for thousands of years. It is certainly how I, and probably you, learned how to sew.

With an initial capital outlay of $2,000 $10,000, you can get the ball rolling. Sewing classes can be a home based business and can also be operated part time. The potential income is estimated to be between 25 to 35 US dollars per hour and this rate could still go up.

You can market your sewing class using traditional means of advertising as well as online. To start with a small capital outlay, you can also go into a joint venture with a local fabric store and offer sewing classes in the evenings and weekends with them. An added advantage here is that you can profit from the store’s existing customer base. Additional revenue can also be generated by selling patterns and other sewing notions to your students.

    Sewing Classes success story

Here’s a success story in Minneapolis that I want to share with you: Miss Gianopoulos, who s offered sewing classes for a number of years, has seen such an increase in the number of kids and teens in her class that she decided to open a school vacation camp called Sewtropolis. Her sewing classes are now available to all ages and skill levels. She is also selling patterns, notions and fabrics to her students. Originally intended for adults, she found out that kids and teenagers are highly interested in learning how to sew as a creative outlet.

For sewing students aged eight and above, they should have the patience to work on sewing projects and know how to use a sewing machine. Students are also allowed to rent time on a sewing machine at the rate of $5 per hour if they don’t have a sewing machine at home.

Gianopolous has also noticed that math skills and sewing go together because sewing needs careful attention to detail and it also involves measurements and fractions. This means enrolling children in sewing class will also increase their knowledge in mathematics and problem solving.

How to make people interested in sewing:

Success in business means you are fulfilling some kind of need in the market. There is a need for people to become autonomous in their finances and in the use of their time.

Curiosity killed the cat or so the saying goes. I know how to sew but every time I see someone in a shop or a fabric store making something, I stop to watch. I am fascinated by the amount of people that do the same. Like me, many find that there is always something knew to learn or a better easier way to do things. So volunteering your time to teach a demonstration class will pay up in time.

    Schools:

Schools in your district are a wealth of potential customers. After school activities keep kids busy until mom comes home giving children a great way to hone in their hand eye coordination and improving their attention span.

    Community service support groups:

Nothing is more attractive to people than to share a common hobby, and sewing allows a great opportunity to talk whilst doing something creative. It s also a great way to conduct a class tailored to many different skills levels. Approaching your council for space availability rules an regulations would be a very practical way to utilize underused resources.

As we have written about before, sewing helps fight depression. so it would certainly be in the interest of your community to help get people sewing!

    Church Halls:

S ince time immemorial the church premises have been a point of gathering for town s people to come together and many churches enjoy the privilege of open spaces and an empty hall in which you can accommodate a sewing class, talk to you local parishioner for more information.

Project Based Sewing Clubs at Your Home:

There is really nothing more exciting for a sewer than to get together with other sewers sharing a common goal. We know many groups who have used our popular Conference Tote Bag Pattern Sew-Along as the basis of their first group project. We certainly encourage that as long as each participant gets their own log-in and account.

Also, while it is impossible to sew, text and post in social media at the same time, you can be sure that our young generation is still very much interested in learning the old fashioned art of sewing. Believe it or not, even they get tired of sitting on their phones all day!

I hope this give you some ideas and motivation to start your own sewing classes business. Good luck and do let us know how you go in the comments below.

    Caren marks says:

I have had fantastic luck in the past teaching homeschooling students sewing classes. You have the that they can schedule classes during the day if needed and are used to being very well behaved and can focus on a project much easier than some students can. Also remember homeschooling groups when you are cleaning out your closet of fabric and scraps that you want to get rid of because sending a huge bag to a group of homeschooling students creates a frenzy of excitement and happiness.

Teaching is so satisfying. I energizes me. There is a big demand for child classes. I have a full series on How to Run Your Own Summer Sewing Camp and it can be adapted for after school classes as well. http://www.thelostapron.com/2016/07/sewing-camp.html

(The above search facility uses a link to ASIC’s Identical Names Check. Use this link to check whether the proposed company name, or an effectively identical name, has already been registered, as either a company name or as a business name, or reserved as a company name. This link is not to suggest that Incorporator has any association or affiliation with ASIC or any sponsorship from, or endorsement by, ASIC.)

HOWEVER THERE ARE MORE CONSIDERATIONS TO THE AVAILABILITY AND CHOICE OF A NAME THAN SIMPLY ESTABLISHING THAT AN IDENTICAL NAME HAS NOT ALREADY BEEN REGISTERED OR RESERVED. UNLESS YOU ARE ENTIRELY CLEAR ABOUT THIS YOU SHOULD READ FURTHER BELOW.

    Deceptively Similar Names
First, please note – even if a name is available – in the sense that ASIC will allow it to be registered as a company name – if it is deceptively similar to another name you may be subject to legal and other action by the owners of the other name. They may allege that your company name is illegally misleading and deceptive or that you/your company are engaging in the tort of ‘passing off’. Also, if the name is misleading and deceptive in itself, the name may be in breach of various Cwlth, State and Territory laws prohibiting misleading and deceptive conduct.

(The above search facility uses a link to ASIC’s National Names Index/Database. Use this link to check whether the proposed company name, or an effectively identical name, or a similar name has already been registered, as either a company name or as a business name, or reserved as a company name. Pay particular attention to the first name in the list – if any – produced by this search facility as even if it is not strictly or effectively identical to the proposed company name it is likely to have the greatest chance of being deceptively similar to the proposed company name. This link is not to suggest that Incorporator has any association or affiliation with ASIC or any sponsorship from, or endorsement by, ASIC.)

General rules about availability of a name
Generally speaking, a proposed company name will be available UNLESS:

    1. it is identical to another already registered Australian company or business name or an Australian reserved company name***

(***However, if the applicant for the registration/incorporation of the company is either the registered owner(s) of the identical Australian registered business name(s) or is applying on behalf of, and with the authority of, the registered owner(s) of the identical Australian registered business name(s), then the proposed company name will be available, despite its ‘identicalness’. Also, if the proposed company name has been specifically reserved for the proposed company’s use it will obviously be available for use by the proposed company.)

    2. it is unacceptable for registration (for example because it contains a restricted word or is obscene or is otherwise offensive).

(section 147(1) of the Corporations Act 2001)

    ‘Identicalness’ of a name
ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) keeps a combined list of registered Australian Company Names, registered Australian Business Names and reserved Australian company names (this list is accessed by both the ‘Search here’ functions above). If any of the registered or reserved names are identical to the name of your proposed company, the name will not be available to your proposed company***.

(***However, if the applicant for the registration/incorporation of the company is either the registered owner(s) of an identical Australian registered business name(s) or is applying on behalf of, and with the authority of, the registered owner(s) of an identical Australian registered business name(s) then the proposed company name will be available, despite its ‘identicalness’. Also, if the proposed company name has been specifically reserved for the proposed company’s use it will obviously be available for use by the proposed company.)

    Effectively identical names
Not only will proposed names which are strictly identical to existing registered and reserved names not be available. Names which, although not strictly identical, are effectively identical, that is once certain parts of the names are excluded from consideration, will also not be available. (The ‘Identical Names Check, Search here:’ function above also takes into account effectively identical names.)

Before comparing two names to see whether they are effectively identical, one must first ‘strip out’ (i.e. ignore) each of the following words if they appear in either or both of the names being compared:

    i) ‘The’, ‘THE’, ‘the’, ‘A’, or ‘a’ – if they are the first word of either or both of the names.

ii) ‘Proprietary’, ‘PROPRIETARY’, ‘Pty’, ‘Limited’, ‘LIMITED’, ‘Ltd’, ‘LTD’, ‘No Liability’, ‘NO LIABILITY’ or ‘NL’ – with or without full stops indicating abbreviations – in one or both of the names.

Also, a word in the plural form will be regarded as being identical to a word in the singular form and vice versa. For example ‘cat’ and ‘cats’ would be regarded as being identical.

Further, words, other characters and symbols will be not be considered to be different merely because they are in different sizes and cases (i.e. upper or lower case), different fonts or other characters, have accents, spaces between letters, numbers, characters, symbols or punctuation marks. For example ‘cat’ would be regarded as being identical to ‘CAT’ or ‘cat’, or ‘Ct’, ‘C at’ and ‘CAT ”.

Moreover, each of the words in the left hand column below are regarded as being identical to each of the adjacent words in the right hand column:

    Cool Company Names

    Cool Names for a Business

When your business has a cool name you are saying to the world that you are up with the latest technology, trends and styles. If your prospective customers are innovators and early adopters your cool name signals that your firm is the one they should purchase from. In a fiercely competitive marketplace, a cool business name is a major competitive advantage that gives your firm the edge you need to thrive.

What Makes a Business Name Cool?

We usually think of cool names for companies in cool industries like gaming, tech, toys, consumer products, social media, web 2.0 firm, interactive enterprises, collaborative and Gen Y businesses.

But cool isn’t industry specific. In fact, a cool name is red-hot when adopted for use in a traditionally stodgy industry. Just think how the name Petrol Max (below) would stand out in the energy industry. It would be a very strong brand name that would stand apart from others in the market.

The naming experts at Brandings have studied tens of thousands of company names and product names to determine the underlying factors that make them cool. Here are a few examples of cool business names:

The 5 Elements of a Cool Business Name

Our research team has examined the elements that actually make a name “cool.” The “coolness” factor of a name can be broken into five key forces. Here are the 5 key factors that separate the cool from the uncool.

    1. Cool Business Names are Unique. The business environment is crowded with firms hoping for attention. A cool name stands above the rest. It generates excitement because of its uniqueness.

    2. Cool Business Names are Brandable. A cool business name is rarely found in a dictionary. A cool name conveys a core message that a brand can be built around.

    3. Cool Business Names are Evocative. Your name should clearly communicate the personality of your firm and how your core competitive advantage. A cool name should elevate your products and services and evoke a positive feeling about your firm.

    4. Cool Business Names are Short in Length. With rare exception, a cool name packs a powerful punch in a few letters. A cool name is short in length, all English characters and easy to spell and pronounce.

    5. Cool Business Names are Engaging. A cool business name elevates the brand experience with just the right amount of intrigue, fun and whimsy. The name is current, but no so much so that it could become stale or dated.

By selecting the right cool name that sums up the core essence of your products will save your business considerable marketing dollars. In short, a cool name becomes a central tool in your marketing portfolio.

3 Additional Findings on Cool Brand Names:

Sewing Classes: A Cool Business Idea – So Sew Easy #business #financing
