What is Ecommerce, names for businesses.#Names #for #businesses

What is Ecommerce?

Article Rating: 3 / 5 Votes: 903

Electronic commerce or ecommerce is a term for any type of business, or commercial transaction, that involves the transfer of information across the Internet. It covers a range of different types of businesses, from consumer based retail sites, through auction or music sites, to business exchanges trading goods and services between corporations. It is currently one of the most important aspects of the Internet to emerge.

Ecommerce allows consumers to electronically exchange goods and services with no barriers of time or distance. Electronic commerce has expanded rapidly over the past five years and is predicted to continue at this rate, or even accelerate. In the near future the boundaries between “conventional” and “electronic” commerce will become increasingly blurred as more and more businesses move sections of their operations onto the Internet.

Business to Business or B2B refers to electronic commerce between businesses rather than between a business and a consumer. B2B businesses often deal with hundreds or even thousands of other businesses, either as customers or suppliers. Carrying out these transactions electronically provides vast competitive advantages over traditional methods. When implemented properly, ecommerce is often faster, cheaper and more convenient than the traditional methods of bartering goods and services.

Electronic transactions have been around for quite some time in the form of Electronic Data Interchange or EDI. EDI requires each supplier and customer to set up a dedicated data link (between them), where ecommerce provides a cost-effective method for companies to set up multiple, ad-hoc links. Electronic commerce has also led to the development of electronic marketplaces where suppliers and potential customers are brought together to conduct mutually beneficial trade.

The road to creating a successful online store can be a difficult if unaware of ecommerce principles and what ecommerce is supposed to do for your online business. Researching and understanding the guidelines required to properly implement an e-business plan is a crucial part to becoming successful with online store building.

What do you need to have an online store and what exactly is a shopping cart?

Shopping cart software is an operating system used to allow consumers to purchase goods and or services, track customers, and tie together all aspects of ecommerce into one cohesive whole.

While there are many types of software that you can use, customizable, turnkey solutions are proven to be a cost effective method to build, edit and maintain an online store. How do online shopping carts differ from those found in a grocery store? The image is one of an invisible shopping cart. You enter an online store, see a product that fulfills your demand and you place it into your virtual shopping basket. When you are through browsing, you click checkout and complete the transaction by providing payment information.

To start an online business it is best to find a niche product that consumers have difficulty finding in malls or department stores. Also take shipping into consideration. Pets.com found out the hard way: dog food is expensive to ship FedEx! Then you need an ecommerce enabled website. This can either be a new site developed from scratch, or an existing site to which you can add ecommerce shopping cart capabilities.

The next step, you need a means of accepting online payments. This usually entails obtaining a merchant account and accepting credit cards through an online payment gateway (some smaller sites stick with simpler methods of accepting payments such as PayPal).

Lastly, you need a marketing strategy for driving targeted traffic to your site and a means of enticing repeat customers. If you are new to ecommerce keep things simple- know your limitations.

Ecommerce can be a very rewarding venture, but you cannot make money overnight. It is important to do a lot of research, ask questions, work hard and make on business decisions on facts learned from researching ecommerce. Don’t rely on “gut” feelings. We hope our online ecommerce tutorial has helped your business make a better decision in choosing an online shopping cart for your ecommerce store.

Trading As” – Company and Business Names – Company Formation, cool business

Cool business names

Cool business namesIt is quite a common occurrence in the UK for Limited Companies to adopt a trading name to run their business with. Having already set up a limited company and registered with Companies House with one name they find that they would rather run the business under another name. In some instances, a limited company may well run multiple businesses, with various different trading names, yet all under the umbrella of the same company. There are, or can be, a number of issues to consider when contemplating such a thing.

First of all, The Business Names Act 1985 imposes certain legal requirements on companies adopting this business technique. The most obvious point is the trading name cannot be the same as or similar to another company or business name in a way that might be confusing. In the same way that you cannot register a company name with the same name as a company that is already registered, you cannot register one company name (which is completely different) then use a trading name which is the same as a already registered (and trading) company name.

Secondly, the use of sensitive words is prohibited/regulated in use as part of a trading name in much the same way as it is for limited company names. So using words like association , group , federation and similar words is prohibited. Clearly, a company cannot use the word limited as part of its trading name as this implies registration of a limited company under that name.

Thirdly, if using a trading name as part of carrying out business, a company is required to display the appropriate information in all places where the business is carried out and on all documentation, invoices and alike. So for example, if ABC Limited is trading as XYZ, then they must make as much clear on a notice at their premises, on paperwork and website displaying ABC Limited trading as XYZ .

The Pitfalls of Trading As .

The use of a trading name might seem appealing to most businesses as it is easier than registering a company under the new name. However, there are several pitfalls. The whole area of trading as is rather a mine field.

It s clearly important to carry out a company name search to ensure that the trading as name is not already registered as a limited company. Sensible business people would also carry out other searches in local business directories, on the internet and in the phone book to make sure they are not going to step on anyone s toes. Because a trading name is not registered as a limited company, it is not properly protected. There is always the danger that at a later date someone else may register the trading name as a limited company and then stake their claim. This could clearly cause complications for your business as they will have the right to the name and therefore can force you to stop using it. So it is advisable to carry out a company formation and register the trading name as a limited company, then keep that company dormant. This might seem to defeat the point in using a trading name, but because a dormant (non-trading) company is just that, the registration is low cost and maintenance is straightforward.

The other obvious danger is that someone else has the trading name registered as a trade mark. This could lead to costly legal battles and a headache for the company. It is advisable to carry out a trade mark search and a trade mark registration with regards to the business trading name, both in order to protect it from use from others and to ensure it has not already been registered.

Having a hard time coming up with business names ideas?

Here s some reasons why choosing a company name may not be as hard as you think.

Let me tell you a story about how I came up with my company name, and why you should consider using your own name for your company.

“Had I known that picking too unique of a name would cause all sorts of pronunciation problems, spelling errors, and confusion, I would have just stuck with my own name for business purposes.”

I was born on the anniversary of Buddha s birthday, and on that same day, Picasso passed away. It always seemed strange to me that these two events occurred on the day I was born, and when it came time for me to choose a company name, I had this brilliant idea:

Why not combine the two names for the name of my company?; Thus, Buddhacasso came into existence. Cool right?

Well, as I continued running my company with this name, a few issues came up that, had I known about these potential problems, I would have stuck to my own name for the company.

  • No one could pronounce the name. I thought it was fairly obvious that the name was the combination of Buddha and Picasso. But hardly anyone got that idea. And so, the name was constantly being butchered: buddah-cass-o, etc.

  • No one could spell the name, since no one could pronounce it, and no one had a frame of reference as to where the name came from, it was always misspelled: on checks, packages sent in by vendors, even my bank misspelled it on my company checks.

  • And depending on your native tongue, my chosen name was pronounced differently. I heard some Italians say my company name once and it was really fascinating .
    • Cool business names

So what ended up happening was that customers ended up knowing me by my name, and referenced my jewelry by my name. It got to the point that customers would call me and ask why there was a charge for buddah-cass-o on their credit card, and I would have to call them back and say it was me, and that was my company name. It was ridiculous!

    Branding and Business Names Ideas

Remember in the jewelry branding section where we started to think about how to brand jewelry through the artisan? I think the most effective company name for designers is using some version of your name. Jewels by Erica Blane, John Hagen Gioiello. Simple, and to the point.

Of course, you are free to choose whatever name that you wish, just keep in mind my disaster of a story when choosing a name!

    Fictitious Business Name Filings

If you do choose to go with a made up name, or a name that doesn t involve your personal name in the company name, you may have to file a fictitious company name declaration. Different counties and states have different rules, so check with local officials for the proper procedure.

You basically have to fill out paper work declaring your fictitious business name, or DBA: doing business as. You do a search in the state to make sure no one else is using the name, and then you have to publish this declaration in a publication for a certain number of days, after which, your name will be official.

Good Luck! And remember: simple and to the point .

The need for a good slogan cannot be ignored; it informs prospective customers about the business quickly. The slogan must be attractive, informative, and be able to entice customers. Here’s some tips for cleaning business slogan ideas that you can start using right away.

Do You Need a Business Slogan?

    Catchy business names

The right cleaning business slogan entices prospective customers to visit your business. A business slogan identifies for your cleaning business and helps to inform clients about the services you offer.

Do slogans help people remember businesses better? Well, do you still remember Coca-Cola’s 1963 slogan: Things Go Better with Coke? 1

Odds are you remember it very well because it satisfies all the components of a powerful advertising slogan: short, memorable and clever.

Business slogans are short statements that have a motivating and powerful impact on prospective customers, and they distinguish the business from competitors. The business’ slogan acts like a branding statement for any business. Since the cleaning business is very competitive, it is a smart business idea to build a strong image by drafting an intelligent and witty statement for the slogan.

Try one of these effective cleaning business slogans ideas for your business:

If you’d rather come up with your own, unique slogan, feel free to modify any or all of the above phrases to your liking. Remember to keep your message short and sweet. Try out new slogans on friends, relatives and business acquaintances until you find the perfect fit for your business and personality.

Put Your Slogan to Work For You

Your slogan acts like a cherry perched on top of luscious looking whipped cream on a delicious banana split: Let’s analyze some examples of different types of slogans and how they can portray your services:

A slogan offers a clear definition of your company to your customers. This type of slogan informs the prospective customer of how you stand out from your competitors. The uniqueness that can be added to a business with the help of its slogan is very effective: Something like:

    • Where spotless cleaning comes to your door

The above is a unique business slogan for a cleaning company that also tells your customer about your business services.

Slogans can be in the form of a query:

    • Do you want your home or office to be neat and tidy?

Most people read and react to such a suggestion in a positive way. This type of slogan must be drafted in such a way that is viewed as a must-have essential for potential and repeat customers.

    Gets Your Business Noticed

Use the slogan to explain to the potential customers what your business does. It is a good idea to include the benefits and advantages in your slogan:

Use this slogan for a business to make its service sound fast and convenient for people in a hurry.

There’s no reason why your slogan can’t also be humorous. A funny or witty slogan makes readers smile, but more importantly, it cements the information about your business firmly in their memory:

Word plays, puns or rhyming sentences like the above are humorous and interesting cleaning business slogans ideas.

A business slogan can be set in a way that implies a goal:

For example, this slogan explains the goal of the business very clearly.

The necessity of a unique slogan is important for your business to get recognized. Play with some of these cleaning business slogan ideas to come up with one that is uniquely you.

    Share Your Slogans, Please!

Creativity begets creativity, so please take a minute to post your idea for an award-winning slogan in the comments section below. Your fellow entrepreneurs will thank you for sharing your ideas and tips.

    business names available

You can now start a WHOIS lookup directly in your browser!

Use the format: www.networksolutions.com/whois-search/netsol.com and you’ll come directly to our WHOIS results page. Stay tuned for more useful features coming soon to WHOIS!

    What is WHOIS?

When you register a domain name, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) requires your domain name registrar to submit your personal contact information to the WHOIS database. Once your listing appears in this online domain WHOIS directory, it is publicly available to anyone who chooses to check domain names using the WHOIS search tool.

There are a variety of third parties who may check domain names in the WHOIS check database, including:

    • Individuals check domain names for expiration dates
    • Registrars check domain names when transferring ownership
    • Authorities check domain names when investigating criminal activity

As an accredited domain names registrar, Network Solutions must comply with the WHOIS database requirements set forth by ICANN. However, in an effort to ensure that customers feel comfortable with the visibility of their personal information, Network Solutions offers three options for your WHOIS database listing.

    Public WHOIS Database Listing

If you’re comfortable with having your information available to the public and don’t want the extra fee associated with private domain registration Network Solutions will submit a public listing to the WHOIS lookup database. This listing will include your name, address, phone number, email address and domain name expiration date. Your website hosting IP address and host name will also be listed.

    Private WHOIS Database Listing

Having your personal information made available to the public will increase your risk of becoming a victim of hackers, spammers and even data miners. To keep your contact information out of the hands of those who may use it maliciously, Network Solutions offers private domain name registration. For a small monthly fee, we’ll act as your proxy which means that anyone who does a WHOIS lookup for your domain name information will find our contact information, not yours.

Our WHOIS lookup services are designed to help you achieve convenience and peace of mind. Our exceptional customer service team is here to help guide you through the simple WHOIS setup process, while our private WHOIS database listing ensures your information is protected. You can also use our WHOIS lookup services to find out when that your domain you have your eye on is set to expire, as well as who owns it, if their information is public. Choose Network Solutions for your reliable WHOIS provider.

Network Solutions believes that its customers should ultimately decide how their contact information will be listed in the WHOIS database. When you’re ready to register a domain name, consider your WHOIS options before your personal information becomes available to the public.

Business Names Ideas for Jewelry Designers, cool business names.#Cool #business #names

Creating Catchy Slogans for a Cleaning Business: Tips and Samples For You to Use

    • Maid in Bliss
    • We Love The Jobs You Hate
    • Got Dirt? We Got Clean!
    • The Clean Team – Leave Your Troubles With Us!
    • Fresh As A Daisy
    • Neat ‘n Tidy
    • Swept Away
    • We Leave the Competition in the Dust!
    • Leave Your Dust to Us
    • Always Sparkling
    • Sparkle Aplenty
    • Tidy Shines
    • Rise ‘n Shine
    • My Business is Making Yours Shine
    • Your Panes are Our Pleasure
    • We’re a Glass Act
    • Take a Bite Out of Grime
    • Grime Busters
    • Call Us! We’re the Dust Busters
    • We Do, Do Windows
    • Let Us Hurt Your Dirt
    • We Can Bust Your Dust
    • We’ve Got a Lust for Dust
    • We’re a Lean Mean Cleaning Machine
    • Clean Your Clock and Everything Else
    • Extreme Clean

The name of your business is as much a marketing tool as it is your company identifier. A good business name can make your business a hit and a bad name can make your business a miss, according to online small business resource Entrepreneur. A unique business name can help make your business memorable.

    Start With Acronym

An acronym is a word created from the first letters of other words. For example, FBI is an acronym for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Rather than starting your business name brainstorming session with a list of prospective names, you should instead start with a list of potential acronyms and then create name to fit the acronym. If you like the way an acronym looks on paper, then put words to it for your business name. For example, if you run an electronics retail business then start brainstorming on short words that have to do with the retail business such as tag, cost and shop. Choose the acronym TAG and create the business name Technological Advanced Goods. Once you have the acronym you like, brainstorm on names to make out of it.

    Inside Joke

You can use an inside joke as the name for your business, but you may want to be careful when you go to explain it to customers. For example, if friends have been calling your business your albatross because it may not make any money, then name the business using your first name and the word Albatross. You can explain to customers that it represents the hard work you put into creating a positive buying experience. If there is a phrase you say a lot that your friends kid you about, such as Positive Buying Experience, then consider naming your business after that inside joke.

    Random Words

Sometimes a unique name just needs to flow well together to be effective. Fill a bag with random words cut from magazine and newspaper titles, and then write down the results you get. Start juggling around some of the combinations you get, and you may stumble upon that name that makes your company sound unique. It would be helpful to choose a name that is a unique mix of random words but still represents your business in some way. For example, if you own a tie selling shop then you may like the sound of the words coughing and red together for no reason other than it sounds good. Add the phrase tie shop to the end of it and you have a unique business name.

    Non-Healthcare Businesses

Sharps Compliance offers liability protection solutions for commercial business. We provide sharps collection and biohazardous spill kits for facilities to protect customers and employees from potentially infectious waste. Additionally, we offer hazardous waste and universal waste services to dispose of items, such as commercial cleaning fluids, batteries, light bulbs and other devices that contain mercury. With a comprehensive management strategy, businesses can safely collect and properly dispose of these wastes, thereby keeping customers, employees and their brand names safe.

    Names for businesses

    Public Area Sharps Disposal

Our Needle Collection and Disposal System is ideal for restrooms where self-injectors can properly dispose of their syringes and lancets. Businesses without proper collection may find sharps in restroom trash cans or toilets. Improper sharps disposal can lead to accidental needle sticks or damage to plumbing if flushed.

    Biohazardous Spills

Accidents happen. Be prepared with Sharps’ unique biohazardous spill kit. This kit contains everything to safely and properly contain the spill material and clean/disinfect surfaces. But unlike other spill kits, the Sharps kit also includes proper disposal of the spill waste. Our mailback biohazardous spill kit provides proper spill management at a fraction of the cost of a pickup service.

    Hazardous Universal Waste

Businesses generate hazardous and universal wastes once products are no longer usable or needed. Such products include hazardous chemicals, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs and other devices that contain mercury. Fines for improper management of these wastes can run in the thousands of dollars per day, per incident. A comprehensive management program from Sharps Compliance can protect your employees and customers from hazards while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Each uptime calculation is measured by the uptime for the entire customer base across all hosting systems for Network Solutions. Scheduled maintenance to Network Solutions systems is excluded from the calculation of the uptime for UNIX and Windows users as well as events causing downtime that are outside of the control of Network Solutions or are caused by third parties.

Premium Hosting for Windows limits concurrent connections to 100, which may result outages for customers with higher website traffic.

    Branding, Identity Logo Design Explained

    Creative business names

A logo is not your brand, nor is it your identity. Logo design, identity design and branding all have different roles, that together, form a perceived image for a business or product.

There has been some recent discussion on the web about this topic, about your logo not being your brand. Although this may be true, I haven t seen any clarification of the differences between brand , identity and logo . I wish to rectify this.

What is a logo? – A logo identifies a business in its simplest form via the use of a mark or icon.

To explain this in more detail, let’s start at the top – the brand.

    What is branding?

    Creative business names

Branding is certainly not a light topic – whole publications hundreds of books have been written on the topic, however to put it in a nutshell you could describe a ‘brand’ as an organisation, service or product with a ‘personality’ that is shaped by the perceptions of the audience. On that note, it should also be stated that a designer cannot “make” a brand – only the audience can do this. A designer forms the foundation of the brand.

Many people believe a brand only consists of a few elements – some colours, some fonts, a logo, a slogan and maybe some music added in too. In reality, it is much more complicated than that. You might say that a brand is a ‘corporate image’.

The fundamental idea and core concept behind having a ‘corporate image’ is that everything a company does, everything it owns and everything it produces should reflect the values and aims of the business as a whole.

It is the consistency of this core idea that makes up the company, driving it, showing what it stands for, what it believes in and why they exist. It is not purely some colours, some typefaces, a logo and a slogan.

As an example, let’s look at the well known IT company, Apple. Apple as a company, projects a humanistic corporate culture and a strong corporate ethic, one which is characterised by volunteerism, support of good causes involvement in the community. These values of the business are evident throughout everything they do, from their innovative products and advertising, right through to their customer service. Apple is an emotionally humanist brand that really connects with people – when people buy or use their products or services; they feel part of the brand, like a tribe even. It is this emotional connection that creates their brand – not purely their products and a bite sized logo.

For a more thorough understanding of branding, in simple terms, I recommend Wally Olin’s: The Brand Handbook which I quote is “an essential, easy-reference guide to brilliant branding .

    What is identity design?

    Creative business names

One major role in the ‘brand’ or ‘corporate image’ of a company is its identity.

In most cases, identity design is based around the visual devices used within a company, usually assembled within a set of guidelines. These guidelines that make up an identity usually administer how the identity is applied throughout a variety of mediums, using approved colour palettes, fonts, layouts, measurements and so forth. These guidelines ensure that the identity of the company is kept coherent, which in turn, allows the brand as a whole, to be recognisable.

The identity or ‘image’ of a company is made up of many visual devices:

    • A Logo (The symbol of the entire identity brand)
    • Stationery (Letterhead + business card + envelopes, etc.)
    • Marketing Collateral (Flyers, brochures, books, websites, etc.)
    • Products Packaging (Products sold and the packaging in which they come in)
    • Apparel Design (Tangible clothing items that are worn by employees)
    • Signage (Interior exterior design)
    • Messages Actions (Messages conveyed via indirect or direct modes of communication)
    • Other Communication (Audio, smell, touch, etc.)
    • Anything visual that represents the business.

All of these things make up an identity and should support the brand as a whole. The logo however, is the corporate identity and brand all wrapped up into one identifiable mark. This mark is the avatar and symbol of the business as a whole.

    What is a logo?

    Creative business names

To understand what a logo is, we must first understand what it is for.

    A logo is for… identification.

A logo identifies a company or product via the use of a mark, flag, symbol or signature. A logo does not sell the company directly nor rarely does it describe a business. Logo’s derive their meaning from the quality of the thing it symbolises, not the other way around – logos are there to identity, not to explain. In a nutshell, what a logo means is more important than what it looks like.

To illustrate this concept, think of logos like people. We prefer to be called by our names – James, Dorothy, John – rather than by the confusing and forgettable description of ourselves such as “the guy who always wears pink and has blonde hair”. In this same way, a logo should not literally describe what the business does but rather, identify the business in a way that is recognisable and memorable.

It is also important to note that only after a logo becomes familiar, does it function the way it is intended to do much alike how we much must learn people’s names to identify them.

The logo identifies a business or product in its simplest form.

    Summary:

Brand –The perceived emotional corporate image as a whole.

Identity – The visual aspects that form part of the overall brand.

LogoIdentifies a business in its simplest form via the use of a mark or icon.

How would you summarise brand, identity and logo design? Comments and thoughts are welcome, as always.

Harvey and Irma, Married 75 Years, Marvel at the Storms Bearing Their Names

    New business names

Harvey and Irma Schluter have been married for 75 years. He turned 104 in July; she will be 93 in November.

They vividly remember many of the major events of the 20th century, from her first time spotting an airplane, during the Great Depression, to his wonder at watching Neil Armstrong walk on the moon. In a recent phone interview, Mrs. Schluter even recalled the weather near her home in Spokane, Wash., on the day that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. (Cool and cloudy.)

But never before have they seen two major hurricanes bearing their names threaten the United States.

“I don’t know how they’ve done that, to have a Harvey and Irma,” Mrs. Schluter said Wednesday. “I don’t know how that worked out.”

The explanation is simple. Since 1979, the World Meteorological Organization has alternated men’s and women’s names for tropical storms born over the Atlantic.

Six master lists of names are kept and used in rotation, so the minor hurricane names of 2017 will appear again in 2023. Only hurricanes that are costly or deadly enough to be memorable have their names retired.

Harvey was first used as a storm name in 1981, and six other storms have had that name. The gale that followed Harvey every six years used to be called Irene. But in 2011, Hurricane Irene pummeled the Caribbean and many cities on the East Coast, so that name was retired.

Given the ferocity of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma in 2017, this will probably be the first and last time the names appear in tandem.

The Schluters, by contrast, have been appearing in tandem since the 1940s, when Harvey was visiting his brother at a duplex in Spokane and ran into Irma, staying with her sister in the apartment below while she attended high school.

Mr. Schluter was smitten. The future Mrs. Schluter, Irma Schumacher, was more hesitant.

“I wasn’t quite through school yet,” she said. “I wanted to wait until I was done. But he talked me into getting married before that.”

The two were wed in 1942 and, after a brief stint living in Fort Meade, Md., while Mr. Schluter was still in the Army, they returned to Washington.

While he went to work as a barber, she found life at home lonely. Both had grown up in big families and it seemed natural to begin to take in groups of foster children, many of them physically or mentally disabled. In a story to mark their anniversary in March, The Spokesman-Review of Spokane reported that they had taken in 120 children over the decades, a number that Mrs. Schluter confirmed.

Mr. Schluter opened his own business in the Hillyard suburb of Spokane, Harvey’s Shop, and worked as a barber for 45 years. But he told The Spokesman-Review in 2013 that his most rewarding life achievement was being a foster parent (along with playing the banjo).

Spokane, in eastern Washington, never sees hurricanes, of course. And in their long lives and travels in a motor home to visit their grown foster children, the Schluters managed to avoid the major hurricanes that struck hard enough to have their names retired over the decades. That list is long but includes Hazel in the 1950s; Carla, Hilda and Inez in the 1960s; Agnes and David in the 1970s; Allen, Gilbert and Hugo in the 1980s; Andrew and Mitch in the 1990s; and Isabel, Ivan, Katrina and Felix in the 2000s.

Mrs. Schluter did not recall ever being seriously affected by other weather events, including snowstorms and earthquakes, which are more common in Washington. She did say that she and Mr. Schluter had stayed inside over the last several days because of the smoke from the wildfires plaguing the Pacific Northwest.

When Harvey and Irma were born, in the early 20th century, radio was a new invention and cable television was decades away. In a new century, after 75 years of marriage, they can only watch as their names flicker across the screen with reports of death, destruction and evacuation. “Really sad,” Mrs. Schluter said of the news reports.

“I have no idea what I’d do; I’ve never been in that kind of a situation,” she said. “I’d try and help some people, I don’t know how.”

That’s the philosophy you might expect from someone who spent decades taking children into her home. “You just do whatever you think would be best to do,” she added. “If you can help someone, then help them.”
